Our story
Born on the shores of Grand Baie
Brightparcellistscrt began with a simple frustration: travellers dreaming of the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Zanzibar were navigating a sea of sponsored rankings and aggressive booking engines. We set out to build something calmer — an editorial directory that describes each resort with care, compares them transparently and then steps aside, sending readers directly to the property’s official website.
Our small editorial team is based in Grand Baie, Mauritius, and draws on years of experience in Indian Ocean hospitality, travel writing and destination research. Every listing is researched against publicly available information and reviewed regularly.

How we select and score resorts
Research first
We assess setting, privacy, design, dining, wellness, sustainability and service reputation using public sources, industry knowledge and traveller feedback.
No paid rankings
Resorts cannot pay to be included, featured or scored higher. Editorial scores are opinions intended to aid comparison, not guarantees of quality.
